History Of The Keyboard

Have you ever wondered why your keyboard is set up that way instead of being A, B, C…. Well it all has to do with that random word on your keyboard called QWERTY. It all started on 1867 when the newspaper editor Christopher Latham Sholes was working on one early version of the keyboard. One of his first keyboards had the second half of the alphabet on the top and the first half on the bottom but for some reason the keys were still getting jammed. But then he thought of something else
he separated the most common paring of letters and then he decided he must put back the r and move the period and it finally ended spelling QWERTY.main-qimg-f210bd4b0970498c1c66d1fd9c286fe3
